Here at G2, we are committed to building a program that has a rock solid foundation, and for us that means quality females. It has been our mission to not only align ourselves with the very top genetics, both in phenotype and genotype, but just as importantly the people and programs that back them.
That being said, we are thrilled to highlight Merit Flora 1004J as another foundational piece to our program. Named Reserve Junior Champion Female at Ag-Ex and Senior Champion Yearling at Canadian Western Agribition, we are excited for the promising future of this exceptional female. Royal Flush!
Along with developing a strong female program, we have committed to investing in the highest quality matings. We were lucky enough to get to flush not one but TWO of the industry leading powerhouse cows! Both Brooking Countess 7077 and Bar-E-L Erica 74A are no strangers to success evident through Champion banners and more so proven through progeny that have become the foundation of many great programs in the Black Angus industry. Now combined with the record selling Coleman Glacier 041 who lead off the 2022 Coleman Spring Bull Sale and commanding $270,000USD for 1/4 interest. Needless to say calving season didn't disappoint!
Top End Embryos
Adding to the excitement here at G2 is our embryo purchase from last years New Years Resolution Sale. The SAV Renovation 6822 X Coleman Donna 439 combo has got us pumped. We have loved the Reno daughters that have highlighted so many sales over these last couple years with their extreme depth of rib and easy fleshing ability. Having wanted to own one as a foundational breeding piece since the first offering we saw, we are excited to raise one for ourselves now! Paired with the dam of Coleman Glacier 041 can only add to the expectation of something great.
